Dave Egan, Senior Equity Analyst

David Egan is a senior analyst for fundamental research covering stocks in the semiconductor and semiconductor equipment industry at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC. Mr. Egan joined the firm* in 2008 and has been a member of the investment community since 2004.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Egan was a research analyst at Lehman Brothers, where he covered semiconductor equipment. Previously, he worked at various internet and technology startups, including Lycos, in the San Francisco Bay area. Mr. Egan began his career doing actuarial work at pension and benefits consulting firm Watson Wyatt.

Mr. Egan earned a B.A. from Duke University, an M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and a master’s degree in finance from CEMA University in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In addition, he is a member of the CFA Institute and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
