Colin Moore, AIIMR, Global Chief Investment Officer

Colin Moore is the Global Chief Investment Officer for Columbia Management. His responsibilities include ensuring that a disciplined investment process is in place across all asset classes, including equity and fixed income. He was also head of fixed income and liquidity strategies from 2009 – 2010. Mr. Moore joined the firm in 2002 as head of equity and has been a member of the investment community since 1983.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Moore was chief investment officer of global and international value equities and associate director of research at Putnam Investments. While serving in this role, he personally managed $3 billion in addition to overseeing a team of 29 analysts and five portfolio managers. Previously, Mr. Moore was director of research and chief investment officer for Rockefeller & Co. in New York and London. Throughout his career in the investment industry, he has held portfolio management positions with three London-based asset management firms, as well as a role in product development.

Mr. Moore attended the London Business School where he completed its Investment Management Program and he is an associate by examination of the Institute of Investment Management and Research.

Anwiti Bahuguna, Ph.D., Senior Portfolio Manager

Anwiti Bahuguna is a senior portfolio manager with the global asset allocation team at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC (CMIA). She is also responsible for asset allocation research and portfolio management of the firm’s asset allocation funds and separately managed accounts. Dr. Bahuguna joined the firm in 2002 and has been a member of the investment community since 1998.

Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Bahuguna worked at Fleet, a predecessor firm of Columbia Management Group, in its corporate strategy and development group, where she provided investment banking analysis on transactions such as mergers and acquisitions in all types of financial services companies. Prior roles have also involved strategic planning for restructuring and positioning the corporation and its components for growth and expansion.

Dr. Bahuguna earned a B.S. in economics and mathematics from
St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University and a Ph.D. in economics from Northeastern University.

Paul Berlinguet, Vice President, Equity Products

Paul Berlinguet is a vice president for equity products at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC. Previously, Mr. Berlinguet was a senior portfolio manager and head of the growth equities group at the firm. Mr. Berlinguet joined the firm in 2003 and has been a member of the investment community since 1988.

Prior to joining Columbia Management, Mr. Berlinguet was a portfolio manager and head of the large- and mid-cap equity groups at John Hancock Funds. In this role, he restructured several equity funds totaling more than $1 billion in assets under management. Previously, he was a large-cap growth portfolio manager and head of the global technology research team at Baring Asset Management. During his 12 years at Baring Asset Management, he also managed a small-cap aggressive growth unit trust and was lead portfolio manager for four years.

Mr. Berlinguet earned B.S. and B.A. degrees in marketing from Suffolk University and an M.S.M. degree in management from Lesley University.

Abram Claude, Vice President, Columbia Management Learning Center

Abram Claude is vice president of the Columbia Management Learning Center®, the value add program for Columbia Management Investment Distributors, Inc. (CMID) Mr. Claude is a member of the national speaker bureau and has spoken extensively on retirement and education planning topics. He joined the firm* in 2002 and has been a member of the investment community since 1987.
Prior to joining the financial services industry, Mr. Claude held several executive roles with nonprofit public policy organizations, served on the staff of a U.S. congressman and was chief of staff for a Massachusetts state senator. He began his career in financial services at Fidelity Investments and held positions with responsibility for capacity forecasting, business analysis, public relations, and product management and marketing for college savings and retirement plans.
Mr. Claude earned his B.A. in history from Boston University. He holds the Series 7, 63, 66, 26 and 53 licenses.

Fred Copper, Senior Portfolio Manager

Fred Copper is managing director and head of international equity for Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC (CMIA). Mr. Copper joined the firm in 2005 and has been a member of the investment community since 1990.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Copper was a senior vice president with Putnam Investments where he co-managed $1.5 billion in international and global value portfolios, as well as serving as a lead manager for a small-cap value portfolio and as a member of the global value portfolio management team. James Dearborn, Head of Municipal Bonds

James Dearborn is the managing director responsible for the municipal bond team at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC (CMIA). The group manages more than 30 mutual and common trust funds, as well as numerous institutional and high net worth accounts. Mr. Dearborn joined the firm in 1996 and has been a member of the investment community since 1986.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dearborn worked at Moody’s Investors Service as a senior analyst in the state and high profile rating group. He was also a member of the firm’s rating committee.

Paul DiGiacomo is a senior analyst at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC. Mr. DiGiacomo joined the firm in 2006 and has been a member of the investment community since 2001.

Chad Farrington, CFA, Head of Municipal Bond Research

Chad Farrington is director of municipal credit and a senior municipal fixed income portfolio manager for Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC (CMIA). He also serves as a senior credit analyst, focusing on continuing care retirement communities, senior living, multi-family and other traditional high yield products. Mr. Farrington joined the firm in 2003 and has been a member of the investment community since 1998.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Farrington spent five years at Fitch Ratings as a director in the firm’s health care and tax-backed groups. While at Fitch Ratings, he produced numerous rating reports and several special research pieces on the health care sector. Mr. Farrington also delivered several speeches on the long-term care sector.

Mr. Farrington earned a B.S. in business finance and a minor in economics from Montana State University. He is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society, Boston Municipal Analyst Forum and the National Federation of Municipal Analysts. Weili Jasmine Huang, Senior Portfolio Manager

Jasmine Huang is a director and senior portfolio manager on the international team for Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC (CMIA). In this role, she is responsible for managing Asia ex-Japan equity portfolio securities. Ms. Huang joined the firm in 2003 and has been a member of the investment community since 1995.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Huang was a manager for Deloitte's management consulting practice for three years. Previously, she was a senior auditor at Arthur Anderson focusing on Chinese corporate overseas IPOs.

Ms. Huang received her bachelor’s degree from Shenzhen University in China and her M.B.A. from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. In addition, she holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Certified Public Accountant both in the United States and in China. Ms. Huang is also certified in financial management.

David King, CFA, Senior Portfolio Manager

David King is a senior portfolio manager with the asset allocation team at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC (CMIA). Mr. King joined the firm in 2010 and has been a member of the investment community since 1983.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. King was a senior portfolio manager at Putnam Investments. Previously, he held various other roles during his 25 years at Putnam beginning as an equity research investment analyst and including associate director of equity research. Prior to that, he worked briefly at Drexel Burnham Lambert and Citibank, NA. Mr. King began his career at Manufacturers Hanover Trust (now JPMorgan Chase) in 1978.

Mr. King earned a B.S. in administration, summa cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. In addition, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Jeffrey Knight, CFA, Head of Global Asset Allocation

Jeffrey Knight is Head of Global Asset Allocation for Columbia Management. Mr. Knight oversees our broad suite of asset allocation and risk allocation strategies including capital allocation, risk allocation, risk parity and total return funds. He leads a team of six portfolio managers and serves as the lead manager of our capital allocation and risk allocation funds. Mr. Knight joined the firm in 2013 and has been a member of the investment community since 1987.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Knight was Head of Global Asset Allocation at Putnam Investments where he managed numerous mutual funds and institutional strategies. He began his career at Putnam in 1993 as a Senior Analyst in the Global Asset Allocation group. A founding member of the team, he was instrumental in the development and implementation of the group’s quantitative models and methodologies. While at Putnam, Mr. Knight authored the firm’s Capital Market Outlook quarterly publication. Previously, he was a Senior Associate in tax services at Coopers & Lybrand, a Financial Analyst in the federal systems division at IBM and started his career as a Staff Economist at Economic Consulting Services, Inc.

Mr. Knight earned a B.A. from Colgate University and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. In addition, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Colin J. Lundgren, CFA, Head of Fixed Income

Colin Lundgren is head of fixed income at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC. In this role, Mr. Lundgren is responsible for investment oversight of managed and owned fixed-income portfolios, leading a team of experienced investment professionals. Prior to his current role, he was a sector leader for institutional fixed-income and asset allocation products. In addition, he held positions of responsibility for the development and operation of enhanced equity index products, fixed-income quantitative analysis, mortgage analysis and management of the investment statistical analysis group. Mr. Lundgren joined Columbia Management Investment Advisers in 1986 and has been a member of the investment community since then.

Robert McConnaughey, Director of Global Research

Robert McConnaughey is the head of equity for Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC (CMIA). Mr. McConnaughey joined the firm* in 2002 as director of fundamental equity research and has been a member of the investment community since 1993.

Zach Pandl, Portfolio Manager and Strategist

Zach Pandl is a senior interest rate strategist for Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC, based in Minneapolis. Mr. Pandl focuses on research relating to the macroeconomy and government policy and their implications for interest rate markets. Nic Pifer, CFA, Sector Leader

Nic Pifer is sector leader for global fixed-income at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC. Matt Scales, CFA, Head of Product Development and Strategy

Matthew Scales is vice president of the strategic solutions group at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC (CMIA). In this role, Mr. Scales is responsible for retail and institutional product research and development. He joined the firm in 2011 and has been a member of the investment community since 1994.

Prior to joining Columbia Management, Mr. Scales was a client advisor at Bridgewater Associates. In that role he managed all aspects of client relationships representing $1.5 billion in assets under management while also contributing to the management of an additional $11 billion in client relationships as part of the North American Public Funds team. Previously, he held several roles at Putnam Investments. Most recently, he was a senior vice president and team leader within the product management group responsible for Putnam’s global and non-U.S. equities and currency strategies. Prior to this role, Mr. Scales held a series of progressively more responsible roles with the company. These roles included ex-pat assignments in both London and Sydney where he served in a relationship management and investment specialist capacity dedicated to the European and Australian/New Zealand markets, respectively.

Marie M. Schofield, CFA, Chief Economist and Senior Portfolio Manager

Marie Schofield is chief economist and senior portfolio manager at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC (CMIA). Harlan Sonderling, CFA, Senior Healthcare Analyst

Catherine Stienstra, Senior Portfolio Manager

Catherine Stienstra is a senior municipal fixed-income portfolio manager for Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC. Ms. Stienstra manages the national short municipal bond portfolios, the long state municipal bond strategies and the AMT-Free tax-exempt strategy. She joined the firm in 2007 as sector leader for the municipal bond team and has been a member of the investment community since 1988.

Prior to joining Columbia Management, Ms. Stienstra was a portfolio manager with FAF Advisors, Inc. (formerly U.S. Bancorp Asset Management) where she was responsible for three state-specific mutual funds and a national short-term municipal fund. During her 17-year tenure with FAF Advisors she was instrumental in developing a tax-exempt custom cash product and led development and marketing efforts for new products as the portfolio manager. Her experience also includes managing the tax-exempt fixed income trading operations at FAF.

Ms. Stienstra earned a B.A. in international studies from the University of Nebraska.

Gene Tannuzzo, CFA, Senior Portfolio Manager

Gene Tannuzzo is a sector manager for strategic income and multisector fixed-income portfolios at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC. Tom West, Director of Equity Research

Tom West is head of equity research at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC (CMIA). He joined the firm in 2003 and has been a member of the investment community since 2000.
