Colin Moore, Global Chief Investment Officer

Colin Moore is the Global Chief Investment Officer for Columbia Management. His responsibilities include ensuring that a disciplined investment process is in place across all asset classes, including equity and fixed income. He was also head of fixed income and liquidity strategies from 2009 – 2010. Mr. Moore joined the firm in 2002 as head of equity and has been a member of the investment community since 1983.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Moore was chief investment officer of global and international value equities and associate director of research at Putnam Investments. While serving in this role, he personally managed $3 billion in addition to overseeing a team of 29 analysts and five portfolio managers. Previously, Mr. Moore was director of research and chief investment officer for Rockefeller & Co. in New York and London. Throughout his career in the investment industry, he has held portfolio management positions with three London-based asset management firms, as well as a role in product development.

Mr. Moore attended the London Business School where he completed its Investment Management Program and he is an associate by examination of the Institute of Investment Management and Research.

Anwiti Bahuguna, Ph.D., Senior Portfolio Manager

Anwiti Bahuguna is a senior portfolio manager with the Global Asset Allocation Team at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC (CMIA). She is also responsible for asset allocation research and portfolio management of the firm’s asset allocation funds and separately managed accounts. Dr. Bahuguna joined the firm in 2002 and has been a member of the investment community since 1998.

Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Bahuguna worked at Fleet, a predecessor firm of Columbia Management Group, in its corporate strategy and development group, where she provided investment banking analysis on transactions such as mergers and acquisitions in all types of financial services companies. Prior roles have also involved strategic planning for restructuring and positioning the corporation and its components for growth and expansion.

Dr. Bahuguna earned a B.S. in economics and mathematics from
St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University and a Ph.D. in economics from Northeastern University.

Ben Blomberg, Senior Equity Analyst

Benedikt Blomberg is a senior analyst for fundamental research covering stocks in the defense and auto sectors at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC. Mr. Blomberg joined the firm in 2005 and has been a member of the investment community since 1996.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Blomberg was an analyst with Paradigm Capital Management. Before that he was a quantitative programmer and trader for Fort Orange Capital Management.

Mr. Blomberg earned a B.S. from the University of Muenster, in Germany, and an M.S. from Union College. He is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the CFA Institute. In addition, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Kimberly Campbell, Senior Portfolio Manager

Kimberly Campbell is a senior municipal fixed income portfolio manager for Columbia Management. Ms. Campbell manages the long national municipal bond portfolio as well as the long national and state-specific common trust funds. She joined the firm in 1995 and has been a member of the investment community since 1980.

Prior to her current role at the firm, Ms. Campbell managed the municipal trading desk and traded for several municipal portfolios at Colonial Management. Previously, she worked in Fidelity Management and Research’s municipal bond department.

Ms. Campbell earned a B.A. from Smith College.

Abram Claude, Vice President, Columbia Management Learning Center

Abram Claude is vice president of the Columbia Management Learning Center®, the value add program for Columbia Management Investment Distributors, Inc. (CMID). Mr. Claude is a member of the national speaker bureau and has spoken extensively on retirement and education planning topics. He joined the firm in 2002 and has been a member of the investment community since 1987.

Prior to joining the financial services industry, Mr. Claude held several executive roles with nonprofit public policy organizations, served on the staff of a U.S. congressman and was chief of staff for a Massachusetts state senator. He began his career in financial services at Fidelity Investments and held positions with responsibility for capacity forecasting, business analysis, public relations, and product management and marketing for college savings and retirement plans.

Mr. Claude earned his B.A. in history from Boston University. He holds the Series 7, 63, 66, 26 and 53 licenses.

Fred Copper, Senior Portfolio Manager

Fred Copper is managing director and head of international equity for Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC (CMIA). Mr. Copper joined the firm in 2005 and has been a member of the investment community since 1990.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Copper was a senior vice president with Putnam Investments where he co-managed $1.5 billion in international and global value portfolios, as well as serving as a lead manager for a small-cap value portfolio and as a member of the global value portfolio management team. Previously, he was an assistant vice president with Wellington Management Company.

James Dearborn, Head of Municipal Bonds

James Dearborn is the head of municipal bond investments for Columbia Management. Mr. Dearborn’s investment team manages nearly 30 mutual and common trust funds, as well as numerous institutional and high net worth accounts. He joined the firm in 1996 and has been a member of the investment community since 1986.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dearborn worked at Moody’s Investors Service as a senior analyst in the state and high profile rating group. He was also a member of the firm’s rating committee.

Mr. Dearborn earned a B.A. from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and an M.A. in public administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.

Paul DiGiacomo, Senior Analyst

Paul DiGiacomo is a senior analyst at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC. Mr. DiGiacomo joined the firm in 2006 and has been a member of the investment community since 2001.

Dave Egan, Senior Equity Analyst

David Egan is a senior analyst for fundamental research covering stocks in the semiconductor and semiconductor equipment industry at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC. Mr. Egan joined the firm* in 2008 and has been a member of the investment community since 2004.

Chad Farrington, CFA, Head of Municipal Bond Credit Research and Senior Portfolio Manager

Chad Farrington is the head of municipal bond research and a senior municipal fixed income portfolio manager for Columbia Management. Weili Jasmine Huang, Senior Portfolio Manager

Jasmine Huang is a director and senior portfolio manager on the international team for Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC (CMIA). In this role, she is responsible for managing Asia ex-Japan equity portfolio securities. Ms. Huang joined the firm in 2003 and has been a member of the investment community since 1995.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Huang was a manager for Deloitte's management consulting practice for three years. Previously, she was a senior auditor at Arthur Anderson focusing on Chinese corporate overseas IPOs.

Ms. Huang received her bachelor’s degree from Shenzhen University in China and her M.B.A. from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. Arthur Hurley, CFA, Senior Portfolio Manager

Arthur Hurley is a senior portfolio manager on the income strategies team at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC. Mr. Hurley joined the firm in 2006 and has been a member of the investment community since 1994.

Prior to joining the firm, he was a portfolio manager for Lee Munder Capital Group. In this role, he was responsible for the management of REIT assets for corporate, institutional and high net worth clients. Previously, he served as the lead portfolio manager for the Tuckerman Group, the real estate investment arm of State Street Global Advisors (SSgA). Prior to joining the Tuckerman Group, Mr. Hurley managed portfolios, performed credit analysis and traded corporate bonds for SSgA’s active fixed-income group. He also played a key role in the development and implementation of new products and strategies. He began his career in financial services at State Street Corp.

Mr. Hurley earned a B.A. in finance from the University of Massachusetts. He is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and serves on the NAREIT Real Estate Investment Advisory Council. In addition, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

David King, CFA, Senior Portfolio Manager

David King is a senior portfolio manager with the asset allocation team at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC (CMIA). Mr. King joined the firm in 2010 and has been a member of the investment community since 1983.

Previously, he held various other roles during his 25 years at Putnam beginning as an equity research investment analyst and including associate director of equity research. Prior to that, he worked briefly at Drexel Burnham Lambert and Citibank, NA. Mr. King began his career at Manufacturers Hanover Trust (now JPMorgan Chase) in 1978.

Mr. King earned a B.S. in administration, summa cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. In addition, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Jeffrey Knight, CFA, Global Head of Investment Solutions and Asset Allocation

Jeff Knight is Global Head of Investment Solutions and Asset Allocation for Columbia Management. Mr. Knight leads a team of six portfolio managers responsible for our broad suite of multi-asset strategies including capital allocation, risk allocation, absolute return and total return funds. In addition, Mr. Knight will join the Threadneedle Asset Allocation Committee to provide a macro perspective on various global asset classes for the purposes of helping the committee establish its outlook for global markets. Mr. Knight joined the firm in 2013 and has been a member of the investment community since 1987.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Knight was Head of Global Asset Allocation at Putnam Investments where he managed numerous mutual fund and institutional multi-asset strategies. He began his career at Putnam in 1993 as a Senior Analyst in the Global Asset Allocation group. A founding member of the team, he was instrumental in the development of Putnam’s asset allocation investment philosophy and strategies. While at Putnam, Mr. Knight authored the firm’s Capital Market Outlook quarterly publication. Previously, he was a Senior Associate in tax services at Coopers & Lybrand, a Financial Analyst in the federal systems division at IBM and started his career as a Staff Economist at Economic Consulting Services, Inc.

Mr. Knight earned a B.A. from Colgate University and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. In addition, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Colin J. Lundgren, CFA, Head of U.S. Fixed Income

Colin Lundgren is Head of U.S. Fixed Income at Columbia Management. In this role, Mr. Lundgren is responsible for investment oversight of managed and owned fixed-income portfolios, leading a team of experienced investment professionals. Prior to his current role, he was a sector leader for institutional fixed-income and asset allocation products. In addition, he held positions of responsibility for the development and operation of enhanced equity index products, fixed-income quantitative analysis, mortgage analysis and management of the investment statistical analysis group. Zach Pandl, Portfolio Manager and Strategist

Zach Pandl is a portfolio manager and strategist for Columbia Management, based in Minneapolis. Mr. Pandl focuses on research relating to the macroeconomy and government policy and their implications for interest rate markets. He chairs the Columbia Management Interest Rate Committee, which is responsible for formulating and articulating the firm’s view on interest rates in the U.S. and other developed markets. Mr. Pandl joined the firm in 2012 and has been a member of the investment community since 2006.

Prior to joining Columbia Management, Mr. Pandl was senior economist at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York. There he was responsible for original research on the U.S. economy and interest rates and the development of proprietary analytical tools. Previously, he held positions at Nomura Securities and Lehman Brothers.

Mr. Pandl earned his B.S. in economics from the University of St. Thomas and his Masters in economics from New York University.

Carl Pappo, Head of Core Fixed Income

Carl W. Pappo is Head of Core Fixed Income for Columbia Management. The Core team manages Core, Core Plus and Liability Driven Investment portfolios. He also leads the Columbia Management Core Strategy Team. Mr. Pappo manages a number of intermediate-term mutual funds, institutional portfolios and manages the investment-grade credit sector for the team. Aaron Reames, Senior Equity Analyst

Aaron Reames is a senior analyst for Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC. Mr. Reames is responsible for equity research covering the biotechnology and emerging specialty pharmaceutical sectors. He joined the firm in 2010 and has been a member of the investment community since 1998.

Before beginning his career as a sell-side analyst, Mr. Reames was director of the Biotechnology Group at JPS Capital and a performance measurement and investment analyst at Banc One Investment Advisors, the investment arm for Bank One Corporation (now JPMorgan Chase & Co.)

Mr. Reames earned his B.S. in biology from Ohio State University and his M.B.A. from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio.

Peter Santoro, Senior Portfolio Manager

Peter Santoro is a managing director and senior portfolio manager on the core equity team for Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC (CMIA). Mr. Santoro joined the firm in 2003 and has been a member of the investment community since 1996.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Santoro served as an equity analyst for Rockefeller & Company, concentrating on the global consumer sector, including media, food and beverage, and retail companies. Matt Scales, CFA, Head of Product Development and Strategy

Matt Scales is Head of Product Development and Strategy at Columbia Management. In this role, Mr. Scales leads a team of product development professionals in the retail and institutional product research and development process. Additionally, Mr. Scales is a regular contributor to Columbia Management Thought Leadership initiatives regarding risk-based investing. He joined the firm in 2011 and has been a member of the investment community since 1994.

Prior to joining Columbia Management, Mr. Scales was a client advisor at Bridgewater Associates. In that role he worked with a number of North American public and corporate pension plans consulting on the concepts of risk-based investing, alpha and beta, risk parity, diversification and portfolio construction. Earlier in his career, he held several roles at Putnam Investments, most recently as senior vice president and product management team leader for Putnam global and non-U.S. equity and currency strategies. Prior to this role, Mr. Scales had ex-pat assignments in both London and Sydney where he served in an investment specialist and relationship management capacity dedicated to the European and Australian/New Zealand markets, respectively.

Mr. Scales received a degree in economics from Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida, and an M.B.A. in finance from Boston University Graduate School of Management. In addition, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Boston Security Analyst Society.

Previously, he was a vice president, research analyst and portfolio manager at Putnam Investments; vice president and equity research director at Mutual of America Life Insurance; vice president and portfolio manager at Dalton, Greiner, Hartman, Maher & Company and an equity research analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein. Mr. Sonderling began his career as an auditor and tax consultant for Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Sonderling earned a B.A. from Brown University and an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the Boston Security Analysts Society. In addition, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Public Accountant designations.

Matt Stephan, Analyst, Tax-Exempt Fixed-Income Research

Matthew Stephan is a credit analyst for Municipal Bonds at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC (CMIA). Mr. Stephan joined the firm in August 2012 and has been a member of the investment community since 2008.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Stephan spent three years as a municipal bond rating analyst at Standard & Poor’s and one year as an analyst at Analysis Group, Inc., an economic consultancy.

Mr. Stephan earned his B.A. in economics from Williams College in 2008 and is currently pursuing an M.B.A. from Boston University. He is a member of the Boston Municipal Analyst Forum and the National Federation of Municipal Analysts.

Catherine Stienstra, Senior Portfolio Manager

Catherine Stienstra is a senior municipal fixed income portfolio manager for Columbia Management. Ms. Stienstra manages the national short municipal bond, the long state municipal bond and AMT-free tax-exempt strategies. She joined the firm in 2007 and has been a member of the investment community since 1988.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Stienstra was a portfolio manager for FAF Advisors, Inc. (formerly U.S. Bancorp Asset Management) where she was responsible for managing three state-specific mutual funds and a national short-term municipal fund, in addition to being a co-manager on three closed-end funds. During her 17-year tenure with FAF Advisors, she was instrumental in developing a tax-exempt custom cash product and led development and marketing efforts for new products as the portfolio manager. Her experience also includes managing the tax-exempt fixed income trading operations at FAF.

Ms. Stienstra earned a B.A. in international studies from the University of Nebraska.

Gene Tannuzzo, CFA, Senior Portfolio Manager

Gene Tannuzzo is a Senior Portfolio Manager for strategic income and multi-sector fixed income at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC. He began his investment career at the firm in 2003 as a Financial Analyst and moved into his current position in February 2007. In this role, he is responsible for the day-to-day management of the strategic income and income builder strategies, certain institutional accounts, as well as contributing to fixed-income strategy meetings. Prior to his current role, Mr. Tannuzzo was a member of the municipal bond team.

Mr. Tannuzzo earned a B.S.B. from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2006.

Michael Taylor, Senior Municipal Analyst

Michael Taylor is a senior analyst in tax-exempt fixed income research at Columbia Management. In his role, Mr. Taylor covers various tax-supported credits, public utilities, charter schools and tobacco securitizations, and works closely with separate accounts managed by Columbia Management fixed-income specialists. Mr. Taylor joined the firm in 2011. He has been in the financial services industry since 2003 and on the investment side since 2007.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Taylor spent eight years at Standard & Poor’s, most recently serving as an associate director in their U.S. Public Ratings Group, where he focused on general obligation, lease, special tax and public utility ratings with an emphasis in the western United states. In this role, Mr. Taylor produced numerous rating reports, published special research pieces and served as a voting member on the firm’s rating committees.

Mr. Taylor earned a B.A. and M.A. from Marist College. He is a member of the Boston Municipal Analysts Forum, the National Federation of Municipal Analysts, and the Government Finance Officers Association of the U.S. and Canada.

Tom West, Director of Equity Research

Tom West has been the head of Equity Research at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC since the beginning of 2008. Mr. West joined the firm in 2003 as an equity analyst and has been a member of the investment community since 2000.

Prior to joining Columbia Management, Mr. West was a sector analyst in equities and research associate in high yield fixed income, both at Fidelity Investments.
